What We Believe
What Do We Teach?
Disclaimer:
To condense the over 750,000 words found in the Bible into a single page is impossible. We want to stress that this is a summary as we can best state it, not a specific list that God has revealed in His Word.
What We Teach About The Bible
We teach the Bible and the Bible only!
2 Timothy 3:16-17 “16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
What We Teach About God
There is only one God.
Isaiah 43:10 “'You are my witnesses,' declares the Lord, 'and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.'”
God the Father, Jesus, And the Holy Spirit are God. Or as Jesus would say ” I and the Father are one.”(John 10:30)
What We Teach About Christ
Jesus Is the Son of God and God Himself. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
He is the Only Way of salvation – Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
What We Teach About Salvation
Here’s a quick breakdown of what the Bible Says One Must Do To Be Saved:
Believe – “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him” (Hebrews 11:6)
Repent – “I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish..” Luke 13:3
Confession of Faith - For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:10
Baptized (Immersed) – “When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. ” Acts 2:37-38 or “He who believes and is baptized will be saved.” Mark 16:16
Live For Christ – “Jesus replied, 'No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.'” Luke 9:62
